The flare ignition system consists of two types of equipment: an vertical flare ignition device and a horizontal flare ignition device.

The flare ignition system consists of two types of equipment: an vertical flare ignition device and a horizontal flare ignition device. Below, we will explain these two devices in detail.

Vertical Flare Ignition Device

The oil drilling fluid flare ignition device is a safety and environmentally friendly device used to treat exhaust and vented natural gas from oil drilling, refineries, and natural gas gathering and transmission stations. It is manufactured by manufacturers such as HL Petroleum. Its core function is to ignite and burn combustible and hazardous gases through electronic ignition technology, preventing environmental pollution and safety accidents.

The vertical flare ignition device consists primarily of a gas burner, an electronic igniter, a pilot, and a drilling fluid gas separator. The automated ignition process happens in two stages: first, the electronic igniter ignites the pilot tube, and then the pilot tube ignites the vented gas. Compared to traditional manual ignition methods, this system allows for remote and precise ignition, which reduces the risk of burns and toxic gas leaks. During use, take care to ensure the burner’s installation location and mounting method. You must also protect the electronic components from moisture and dust. The burner must also operate in conjunction with the drilling fluid gas separator.

Horizontal Flare Ignition Device

The horizontal flare ignition device primarily consists of a burner (flare head), an FPGY150 remote-controlled diesel ignition system, a cable reel, an igniter box, a diesel gun, and connecting cables and tubing. This product utilizes a high-performance ignition circuit, ensuring stable performance and reliable operation. It primarily combusts combustible and harmful gases or waste gases released during oil drilling operations and natural gas exploration and development, which eliminates environmental and safety hazards. It is a safe and environmentally friendly device.

The FPGY150 drilling remote-controlled ignition system utilizes a portable instrument chassis and integrates both remote and manual ignition. The control box houses a built-in 24VDC battery that can be charged via an external 220VAC power supply. The igniter also features a remote ignition mechanism, enabling remote ignition within a range of 150 meters. This makes it particularly suitable for igniting oil and gas drilling flares. For flares with high pressure and large vent volumes, you can ensure ignition reliability by first igniting the diesel burner and then the main flare.

The FPGY150 remote ignition control box also has a special battery voltage real-time monitoring circuit. When the battery voltage is too low, the monitoring module will send an alarm signal to remind the user to charge in time.
