Overview of Mud Tank Degassers
A mud tank degasser is an essential solids control device during oil drilling. Its primary function is to separate associated gas from oil and gas intruded into the mud from the wellhead. Its main components consist of a centrifugal pump and a jet tank. The centrifugal pump delivers gas-intruded drilling fluid to the jet tank, where it forms a high-velocity thin layer and is flung against the tank’s inner wall, causing the gas to break up, separate, and be expelled. It offers excellent performance despite its compact size.

Features of the Mud Tank Degasser
1. A separation umbrella is installed within the degasser’s vacuum tank, improving separation efficiency.
2. A new type of ejector is used, achieving negative pressure active slurry removal, significantly increasing the overall processing capacity.
3. A rational and compact structural design delivers excellent performance.
