Mud Tank

Mud tanks design features

1. Corrugated board structure

2. Five-stage purification

3. Sandblasting for rust removal and corrosion resistance

4. Hammer union connection for convenient and durable

HL Petroleum designs and manufactures various types of tanks including mud tank, water tanks, oil tanks, etc. We use these tanks in oil drilling, Horizontal Directional Drilling, coal gas exploration, wastewater treatment, and more industries. Here, we mainly introduce the mud tanks HL Petroleum produces for oil and gas field projects, which often install solids control equipment, store mud, and configure mud to meet the use requirements of drilling solids control systems and mud liquid plants. We design the tanks into horizontal mud tanks, vertical mud tanks, and vehicle-mounted mud tanks, according to different working conditions.

HL Petroleum manufactures vertical and horizontal mud tanks, water tanks and oil tanks according to API & ISO standards. The tank body usually uses corrugated sheets to make the side walls stronger. We usually install ISO standard interfaces to facilitate lifting from the top of the tank. We cover walkways, stairs, and inspection holes with galvanized grilles. We first sandblast the steel used for the tank body, and then we apply a well-known brand of epoxy zinc-rich paint. We make the first layer 75μ thick, apply the epoxy medium twice to a thickness of 250μ, and apply the polyurethane topcoat twice to a thickness of 70μ.

We offer multiple sizes of mud tanks for selection. Here, we show the tank size clients commonly select

The Features of HL Petroleum mud tanks

* The mud tank body adopts corrugated board structure, which has the advantages of high strength, beautiful appearance, etc., while reducing the tank body’s own weight.

* We layout the solids control equipment reasonably, and it reaches the five-level purification standard (coarse screen, degassing, desanding, desilting, centrifugation), which further optimizes the mud performance.

* We make the surface of the mud tanks from galvanized steel grating, which is beautiful, light, and corrosion-resistant.

* The mud tank connection adopts pneumatic tire union and glass steel pipe, which has the advantages of convenient installation, beautiful appearance, and reliable sealing.

* Thorough corrosion protection. The use of wind sand to remove rust and spray marine paint and other advanced technologies and materials enhances the surface strength of the tank body, ensuring that the mud storage tank body is beautiful and durable.

* Customized services are provided for mud tanks. You design the size, color and structure of the tanks, and then HL Petroleum manufactures it for you.

Here are some mud tanks produced by HL Petroleum for clients.

Why purchase mud tanks from HL Petroleum?

HL Petroleum provides reasonable mud tank solutions according to your requirements.

* We construct the tank body from high-quality steel, suited for external use environments.

* We weld the tank body using steel plates and profiles, and then we inspect the welds for flaws and pressure test the tank body.

* We designed the tank structure for humanized operation, including manholes and ladders for easy access.

* We make the connectors between tanks with accessories from ISO and API-certified manufacturers, ensuring reliable quality. We use highly anti-corrosive and wear-resistant ship paint to spray paint the tank.

* The base of the mud tank produced by HL Petroleum uses I-beam as the main beam and other profiles to make a skid-type structure on the basis to meet its strength requirements.

* The mud tank adopts electrical centralized control, and its manifolds (mixing manifold, mud gun manifold, mud pump suction manifold, supply manifold, etc.) are all built-in manifolds, which are convenient for installation, disassembly and transportation. In polar low-temperature areas, the tank body is equipped with a heating system and an insulation system.
