Installation Site of the 90 Drilling Rig Solids Control System

Recently, the 90 drilling rig solids control system, meticulously designed and manufactured by our company, has successfully completed production and delivery, and has been arriving at the customer’s project site. Today, with the smooth unloading of the first batch of equipment, it marks the official start of the on-site installation and integration phase for this advanced solids control system, a race against time and a battle for quality.

I. Orderly Equipment Arrival, Installation Ready

At the project site, heavy trucks are lined up, carrying a series of core modules including drilling fluid shale shakers, desanding and mud cleaning devices, vacuum degassing devices, centrifuges, and sand pumps. Our after-sales service engineering team works closely with the customer’s personnel, strictly following loading and unloading specifications, using cranes and other equipment to safely and smoothly lift each module onto the pre-planned base. The entire unloading process is orderly, fully demonstrating the adequacy of prior communication and the meticulousness of the plan.

II. Professional Team On-Site, Simultaneous Installation and Commissioning

Equipment placement is only the first step. Following closely behind, our company’s advanced installation engineer team quickly immersed themselves in the intensive installation work. Leveraging their extensive on-site experience, they strictly adhered to the installation drawings and process flow:

Foundation Positioning and Fixing: Ensuring each tank and equipment unit was level and aligned, and completing secure welding or bolt fixing, laying a solid foundation for the stable operation of the entire system.

Pipeline Interconnection: Connecting the conveying pipelines between each level of treatment equipment, including slurry suction pipelines, discharge pipelines, and return pipelines, ensuring smooth flow and no leaks.

Electrical and Control System Connection: Connecting power cables to the control system, wiring and preliminary testing of the electrical control room and local control panel, making full preparations for subsequent automated operation.

System Linkage Debugging: After successful individual unit trial operation, the system will undergo no-load and load linkage debugging, fine-tuning various parameters to ensure that the shale shaker, sand separator, centrifuge, and other equipment work together to achieve optimal treatment results.

III. Working Together with the Client to Ensure Project Progress

The smooth progress of this installation work would not have been possible without the strong cooperation of the client in on-site coordination and manpower support. Both teams communicated seamlessly on-site, sharing a common goal: to safely, efficiently, and with high quality complete the installation and acceptance of the entire solids control system, thus gaining a competitive edge for the smooth commencement of subsequent drilling operations.

The successful deployment of this 90 drilling rig solids control system will significantly enhance the drilling fluid handling capabilities of the well crew, playing a crucial role in ensuring drilling safety, improving drilling efficiency, and controlling overall costs.
