Offshore drilling platforms use mud cutting skips, also known as offshore mud skips, drilling cuttings boxes, or drilling cutting skips, to cooperate with on-site drilling cuttings recovery equipment for the recovery, storage, and transfer of drilling cuttings.
HL Petroleum can customize and produce mud cutting skips with effective capacity of 2-4m³ ( 6-10 Ton ). Mud skip for offshore drilling also have DNV2.7-1, CCS certification, weld inspection reports, etc.

Designed and manufactured to RS, DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079 standards.
Designed for easy filling and discharging of drilling waste. A sealed aluminum lid allows screw filling. A charging hole allows filling under pressure.
Lightweight lid (less than 25 kg) for safe and easy lifting, opening/closing. Oil and gasoline-resistant elastic sealant ensures its impermeability.
There is a drainage hole in a side wall.
Stackable for optimum storage (3 tiers of loaded skips and 4 tiers of empty skips).
Easy handling for forklift (provided with fork-lift pockets).
Certified lifting set complete with slings, rings and staples.
Mud skip Advantage
1. The Mud skip has a large inlet and outlet and a tilt Angle in order to easily collected and dumped drilling cuttings.
2. High-quality rubber seals the top cover to effectively prevent cuttings from overflowing.

5. The cuttings box is provided with a liquid discharge hole, which is convenient for washing and cleaning the cuttings in the discharge box thoroughly.
The size/volume of mud skip is customized per customer requirement. The roof normally should be Aluminium material for light open and close. Four sides forklift holes will be designed for easy movement; Polyurethane Anticorrosive Paint for Marine Box, much longer lifetime. We can also customize 20ft cuttings box, size similar to 20ft container.
