Today, we’d like to introduce our newly developed mud processing equipment—the HSG700 verti g cutting dryer (also called a drill cuttings dryer or drier).
Equipment Introduction
A single unit has a processing capacity of 15 tons/hour, a 22kW main motor, a 1000RPM screen basket speed, and soft start. All motors and electrical components are explosion-proof, rated ExdⅡBT4 for outdoor use, and IP55 for protection, making them suitable for harsh working environments. This equipment primarily separates oil well drill cuttings and is suitable for processing oil-based mud. The high drilling speed ensures drier separated particles, and the wear-resistant scraper components significantly extend the equipment’s service life. The manufacturer makes the screen basket from 304 stainless steel to enhance its corrosion resistance. >>Send an Enquiry [email protected]<<
Working principle of dryer
The HSG700 verti g cutting dryer processes wet drill cuttings. The cuttings are fed through an opening and a distribution cone. They then enter the space between the screen basket and a spiral scraper. Centrifugal force separates the water and small particles from the cuttings. These particles pass through the screen and into a sump on the machine’s base. The machine then drains them through pipes on both sides. A speed difference between the scraper and the screen flange scrapes larger particles off the screen. It pushes them into a collection hopper at the bottom. A screw conveyor then transports them away. This dehydration process occurs continuously.
