Drilling mud agitator exported to Kazakhstan

As the Siberian cold front sweeps across Central Asia, winter has firmly set in across Kazakhstan’s oilfields. With temperatures plunging far below zero, thick winter coats have become the uniform of the day. But here at the HL Petroleum production facility, the heat is on! While the weather outside is freezing, our workshop remains a hive of activity. Maybe it’s because business is booming—haha!—but we dare not stop, not even for a moment.

Today, we are proud to announce another shipment of Drilling Mud Agitators heading to our partners in Kazakhstan. These units are critical for maintaining continuous and reliable drilling fluid performance in harsh winter conditions.

What’s in the shipment?

Among this batch, we are particularly excited to highlight two direct-coupled helical gear mud agitators. While our standard worm gear models remain a customer favorite for their compact structure, light weight, smooth transmission, low noise, and high efficiency, the helical gear units represent a significant performance upgrade.

Why Helical Gear?

The two helical gear agitators in this shipment offer superior advantages for demanding environments:

    • High Transmission Efficiency: Significantly reduces energy consumption compared to traditional models.
    • Compact & Robust Structure: The design ensures high mechanical strength while saving valuable space on the mud tank.
    • Superior Meshing Performance: The angled teeth of the helical gears engage more gradually, resulting in quieter operation and higher torque capacity—perfect for handling high-density, high-viscosity drilling fluids.

Built for the Cold

In Kazakhstan’s extreme climate, standard equipment often fails. That’s why these agitators are winter-ready:

  • Low-Temp Motors: Fitted with space heaters and low-temperature insulation.
  • Cold-Resistant Lubricants: Filled with -40℃ rated gear oil to ensure smooth startup.
  • Specialized Seals: Using silicone rubber seals to prevent cracking in the cold.

The primary function of these agitators is to maintain drilling fluid uniformity and keep solid particles suspended. In the heavy mud systems of Kazakhstan, preventing barite sag is crucial, and our equipment is engineered to deliver powerful, consistent agitation day and night.

As a dedicated manufacturer of Drilling Mud Agitators and solids control equipment, HL Petroleum is committed to providing reliable solutions that stand up to the world’s toughest environments.
