The desilter in a drilling rig operates as a three-stage solids control device within the drilling fluid’s solid phase control system. It is a combination of a cyclone desilter and a shale shaker, also can be supplied without the underflow screens according to customer’s request.
The desilter in a drilling rig, which uses 4-inch and 5-inch desilter cyclones, mainly separates solid particles with a particle size of 15-44 microns from the drilling fluid. HCN series desilter is one of the important equipment to stabilize and adjust the technical indicators of drilling fluid.
