Drilling centrifuge is a key component of solids-liquid separation in solids control equipment. They are typically installed at the final stage of a solids control system to treat non-weighted drilling fluids, removing harmful solids larger than 2μm. Treating weighted drilling fluids removes excess colloids, controls viscosity, and recovers barite. Treating cyclone underflows allows for liquid recovery, minimizing waste of fresh water or oil. Centrifuges are also ideal for treating waste drilling fluids and preventing environmental pollution.
