Inline desander, also called underflow screen desanders, separate particles between 40 and 100 μm and offer the flexibility to mount one, two or three 10-inch desander cones on a conical underflow plate. The underflow can be discarded or directed to a vibrating screen for further processing. In-line desanders are also available as standalone models with vertical or inclined manifolds, or tilted mounted on a vibrating screen.
Features of inline desander:
1. Compact structure
2. Economical and affordable
3. No need to replace the screen
It is usually used to treat non-weighted mud in oil drilling. Since the separated drill cuttings are relatively wet, it is not recommended for treating weighted mud.
