The working principle of the mud agitator
The mud agitator for drilling operates on this principle: when the explosion-proof motor runs, it drives the reducer input shaft to rotate through the elastic coupling. After deceleration by the reducer, the output shaft transmits power, driving the stirring impeller to rotate. As the stirring impeller’s blades contact the drilling fluid, they force it to produce a vortex motion, thus preventing solid phase deposition and achieving the effect of uniform mixing of solid and liquid phases and consistent density.
