On-site Installation of Drilling Fluid Cleaner

The installation location of hydrocyclones on-site allows for flexibility; operators can place them on top of conical sand settling tanks, desanding tanks, or desilting tanks. However, to maximize the cleaning screen’s effectiveness, we recommend installing the hydrocyclone on a conical sand settling tank. When positioning, leave sufficient passage and space around the equipment for operation and maintenance, and ensure the equipment base is reliable and level.

On-site Installation of Drilling Fluid Cleaner

Connect the inlet of the desanding and desilting unit of the hydrocyclone to the supply line of the desanding and desilting pump, and connect the outlet of the desanding and desilting unit to a suitable drilling fluid tank via pipeline.

On-site Installation of Drilling Fluid Cleaner

The mesh size of the drilling fluid cleaner screen should be no less than 150 mesh, and operators recommend 200-325 mesh.

Special reminder: During installation, ensure that the inlet suction ball and overflow discharge tank of the desander, desilter, and drilling fluid cleaner match the drilling fluid circulation sequence; otherwise, the improper sequence will reduce the purification effect of the desander and desilter.
